To speak of nature in the Azores is to speak of abundant vegetation, atlantic climate, humidity and most importantly it's spectacular volcanic landscapes. Since we are in a region of volcanic activity these lunar landscapes are seen with great frequency in the majority of the islands.

A natural tour through the Azores can start in the Sao Miguel island where the Valley of Furnas is a sight to see. It's lagoon and volcanic parks are beautiful. The lagoon of Sete Cidades in the same island.
If we go to Faial Island it is the perfect place to go whale watching. Faial also has other enchanting qualities like the Capelinhos Volcano and it's landscape.
The lagoons found in Sete Cidades are breathtakingly lovely, for example the one in Island San Miguel. There the hot springs of the Sete Cidades (seven cities), some of the most spectacular lagoons in the world. 12kms is the size of the perimeter of this volcanic crater that without a doubt is worth visiting. It's completely surrounded in a green landscape with abundant vegetation.
Other lagoons like the Laguna Azul (blue lagoon) and the Laguna Verde (green lagoon) are on the same island. They are both surrounded by nature.
